Audition For Once Upon A Mattress
If you think you know the story of the Princess and the Pea, you may be in for a walloping surprise. Did you know, for instance that Princess Winnifred swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady Larkin had a reason to marry Sir Harry post haste? Or that it really wasn’t a pea that kept the Princess up all night? Don’t miss this wildly fractured fairytale!
Casting Ages 8-19
Audition Dates: April 8th & 9th at 5:45pm
Callbacks: April 10th at 5:45pm

Auditioners should prepare:
1-2 minute comedic monologue
16 bars of an upbeat song (bring sheet music, no CDs)
a headshot or school photo, and resume if available
a list of possible rehearsal conflicts
Dress to move – NO short skirts or flip-flops

*For Musicals: Prepare a 1 to 2 minute monologue, poem, or short story as well as 16 bars of 1 upbeat song or 1 ballad. Sheet music only, no CD’s or tapes please. Accompanist provided. Dress to move.
For Plays: Prepare a 1 to 2 minute monologue, poem, or short story.
