What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is about the Fountain Hills community joining in on a global day of giving.
Who can participate?
On #GivingTuesday, anyone, anywhere can get involved and give back in a way that is meaningful to them—fundraising, donating, volunteering, and pro bono services.
What happens when I participate?
By having your organization participate, your organization’s name and contact information will be listed along with other Fountain Hills nonprofits on a special #GivingTuesday page on the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce website. You are also welcome to include a link to your website or social media page.
What else should I know?
In return, we ask that you direct people to the Fountain Hills #GivingTuesday web page leading up to and on November 28th. This can be done by posting the information on your website, social media pages, via email, even in person. If you do not have some of these tools available we would still love to have you participate.
So that we can celebrate the generosity of the Fountain Hills community after November 28th, we ask that you report back to Sharon Elliott on your success with information such as donations received, volunteers recruited, etc.
